Overview of the Testing Facility

    • - Wind tunnel tests for aerodynamic stability evaluation of high-rise residential buildings
      (Scale model tests of buildings with maximum height of 400m)

      - Wind tunnel tests for aerodynamic stability of sea bridge located at south-west coasts of the Korean peninsula
      (Main span 2000m scale tests)

      - Wind tunnel tests for the issues related to disaster management, including underground facility ventilation/exhaustion, and dispersion of toxic substances and environmental pollutants

      - Impact evaluation of local topography on dispersion of urban pollutants
      (Scale tests modeling the urban area of dia. 8km)

      - Evaluation of aerodynamic stability of bridges and plant facilities

    • - Possible to perform tests of long-span bridge to be constructed in the south-west coast of the Korean peninsula, utilizing its wide width of 12m.
